Behind the Authors
Dr. William B. Martin II
Dr. William B. Martin II received his undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University with a double major in Ethnic Studies and Religion.
He earned a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from California Graduate School of Theology and a Doctor of Philosophy from Associated Theological School. Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities recognized him as a lifetime honorary member for scholastic achievement and community service.
A teacher by nature, Dr. Martin acquired a California State Certified Teaching Credential in Small Business Management and Ownership, Office Administration and Performing Arts Occupations. He is a lifetime Adjunct Professor at Friends International and Next Dimension Universities He has also served as a Reserve Chaplain for the Los Angeles Police Department. Pastor Martin has been a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel since December of 1973.

Dr. Martin is the Lead Pastor and President of Sure Word of Faith Ministries International, Inc. He is married to his lovely wife, Delores Martin and their blended family includes seven children and eleven grandchildren.

Currently, Dr. Martin is a licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent working with various companies educating people on how money works. His purpose in life is to leave an inheritance and legacy for his family through financial entrepreneurship, composing inspirational music and authoring best selling books.
William B. Martin III
Mr. William B. Martin III, the oldest and only son of a Preacher, went from spending many Sundays behind the pulpit to many Sundays behind bars because of the risky choices he made. Surrounding himself with negative influences in high school ultimately led him to making unwise decisions despite being raised in a two parent Christian principle home.
After being held accountable for his actions and having his freedoms revoked, William realized who the most important people in his life were, his family. The embarrassment, disappointment and prolonged distance away from family, brought forth a humbling and sincere renewal of hope and faith, anchored in the love of God and for family. The realization of self worth and value from this circumstance became the power needed to transform his thoughts by the renewing of his mind. The lessons he learned from taking responsibility for his actions led him on a new journey of SELF, self-love, self-respect and self-identity.

William loves to share his life story in written or spoken word using his unique and passionate perspective, in hopes to inspire someone who is struggling with self-identity and self-worth. He welcomes the opportunity to talk to young men about the choices they make and the consequences from those decisions. William has no shame in discussing his past in order to walk in liberty in the present. His goal is to create new opportunities and relationships based on positive behavior and habits.

William has worked as a Project Manager on various projects in entertainment, real estate development and trade show industries over the past ten years. He currently sits as an Executive Board Member of P3 Life, Inc., a learning and leadership company. His aim is to provide mentorship when others are ready to reflect, reset, and rebuild in life.

When he is not working, writing or speaking; William values quality time with his wife Brittiny, their newborn daughter Ny’a and his two college attending sons, William & John creating memories at home or traveling together.
Dr. LaQuenta Martin
Serving as Executive Director for the premier Coaching & Consulting Company, The P3 Life™, LaQuenta is dedicated to organizational improvement. Her aim is to build a bridge that leads to better outcomes after addressing leadership gaps and workplace dynamics. She is dedicated to working with parents, future graduates, and professionals. As the podcast host of "Defined & Designed" she shares how to: plan, prepare & progress forward.
With over 15 years of fostering educational engagement, social-emotional learning, and creating team-building experiences LaQuenta is skilled in leadership improvement, advancement and strategic development.
LaQuenta facilitates courses & coaching in a style all her own. An Educator with a positive personality, she has over a decade of teaching diverse teams, staff and students to foster insightful knowledge.
In addition, she serves her community as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Soroity, Inc. Her personal focus is to bring emotional intelligence programs for all career industries and collaborating with non-profit organizations by hosting annual charity events.
Christina Martin the youngest of two older siblings. She graduated with her degree in Business Administration in 2013. Currently, she is a tax and business advisor and owns two businesses CTM Connections & TaxTackTics. Her hobbies include dancing, mentoring youth and serving the community with her sorority sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
Christina values the five F's in life Faith, Family, Finance, Fitness, & Fun in that order. It is a passion of Christina to continue the expression of love & unity as she plays her role and aids her family in building the Martin Legacy.
